Head of Distillation
A dynamic Master Distiller, Brian is responsible for producing all distillates at Midleton. Brian oversees the production process from brewing to distillation, and also holds the enviable position of tasting all whiskeys on a daily basis, to ensure the correct flavours and that unique pot still spiciness are present.
Head of whiskey science
Dave's early career began on the enviable "taste panel" in the Midleton Distillery. Today Dave is responsible for all new whiskey development and innovation. Working closely with the other Masters, Dave explores the intricacies of whiskey science to arrive at new and interesting whiskeys for the world to enjoy.
Irish Whiskey Academy Tutor
We are nothing without our heritage and at The Irish Whiskey Academy Ciarán hosts courses focused on the production and heritage of Irish Whiskey produced here. Since opening its doors in February 2013, the Irish Whiskey Academy has become the dedicated whiskey institute of Irish Distillers Pernod Ricard.
